You are in > How to get Involved

There are a number of ways you can get involved with Mourne:

Mourne Heritage Trust established the 'Friends of Mourne' in 1997 as a voluntary forum to support its activities in 'Caring for Mourne'. As a friend of Mourne, you have indicated your support for Mourne and its future management and protection.

The 'Friends of Mourne' play an active role in alerting the Trust to issues of concern. Member benefits include:

  • Helping the Trust lobby and campaign on issues relevant to the management of Mourne.

  • Have the chance to nominate to the membership panel and the Board of Trustees.

  • Have the chance to be involved in conservation tasks, recreation and social events, guided walks and talks.
