Mourne Conservation Volunteers
The Mourne Conservation Volunteers meet on
scheduled dates under the supervision of the Ranger or Volunteer Co-ordinator
and undertake practical environmental projects such as:
Tree Planting
Dry Stone Walling
Stile installation
Repairs to access paths
Seed collection and propagation
Litter Picking
Nature Conservation Skills Training
Navigation training
Volunteers may commit as little or as much time
as they wish to the programme. Being a volunteer involves the commitment of time
and energy for the benefit of society and the community, the environment or
individuals.
