 Granite Trail

Starting at Newcastle Harbour, the Granite Trail runs up to Thomas's Mountain where, in the late 1800's, thousands of tonnes of granite were produced every year.  Approximately 1.1km in length with a 1:3 incline, the trail follows the route of this funicular railway known locally as the Bogie line. For further information contact:
