Project Description

This project helps local people to enhance their gardens and open spaces, rendering them more characteristic of the Mourne area.

We are delivering this project in conjunction with The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) and activities include a well-balanced combination of classroom and practical activities.

The class of 2015 will use the following 2 venues for their activities.

• Camphill Community (Mourne Grange, outside Kilkeel) and
• Turnip House (Slieve Croob)

Activities will include pond creation, hedge planting, and looking at general techniques to help attract wildlife and promote biodiversity.

A nominal fee is charged to register for these classes.

If you are interested in taking part, please contact the MMLP office.
